Figure Out the Budget

Renovating your house can be expensive and in such a case you will have to figure out the budget. If your budget is big then you could renovate the whole house and also shift to another place temporarily to speed up the whole process. You could even hire an interior designer who would help to make your house look up-to-date. However, if you are on low budget then too you could upgrade your house for example instead of doing the whole house at once you could start one area each time. Also instead of hiring an interior designer you could do it yourself by researching on different colour patterns or asking help from a friend who is creative. So first figure out your budget and then decide on how you want to renovate it.

Start With the Living Area

Your hall is the main area of the house this is the first thing people see when they enter the house. This is also the place where guests spend most of their time at. To start with you living area should look spacious so paint it in white or any other light colour. If your hall is small another thing you could do is add a lot of mirrors. This would give an illusion that the hall is big. If your furniture is old then you could replace it if your budget is high. However, if you are on a low budget you could simply change the cover of your sofa and also get matching linen cushions. Be a little creative with the colour combinations when it comes to adding carpets and the curtains. Also make sure that you don’t add too many things in the hall as this will make it compact and also get inconvenient when it comes to cleaning.

Don’t Forget the Other Areas

You could do a little bit of renovating in other areas too. For example you could change the colour of your bedroom, make sure you go for a light shade but you can also have one wall which is of different colour. You could even try doing design paints for a pop of colour. If you have a lot of things on your dressing table then you could buy organizers to make it look all neat and arranged. You could also change the setting of your furniture for it to look different. If you are someone who spends a lot of time cooking then kitchen is something you cannot miss. If your pantry has got old then you could change it but go for a darker colour as it tends to get dirty more often. You could also get a dishwasher for yourself and this would make your life easy as you won’t have to rub the dirty dishes yourself.

Lastly, don’t forget the outdoor area of your house. You could change the gate into an automatic one and also change the colour of your current paint!
